Invite colleagues to collaborate on cost optimization in your CostLens organization.

Invite your colleagues to collaborate on cost optimization. All users you invite are placed in your organization — they see the same accounts, recommendations, and billing data.

Inviting a team member

Only Admins can invite new members. The Team page is not visible to Operators or Viewers.

Navigate to Team

Click Team in the sidebar.

Open the invite dialog

Click Invite Member in the top right.

Fill in member details

Enter the person's full name, email address, and select a role.

Send the invite

Click Send Invite. A temporary password will be displayed — copy it and share it securely with your colleague (e.g. via Slack DM or email).

First login

Your colleague signs in with their email and the temporary password. They should change their password immediately after first login.

Changing a member's role

In the Team table, admins can change a member's role using the inline dropdown in the Role column. The change takes effect immediately — no save button required.

Removing a member

Click Remove next to a member row to deactivate their account and revoke all access. They will be unable to sign in. You can re-invite them later if needed.

Tip

Assign the Viewer role to stakeholders, executives, or auditors who need read-only visibility into costs without the ability to make changes.
